IDEBRA work with the community is based on PRODESC – Community Socio-Cultural Development Program.

Program guidelines:

IDEBRA’s activities take place in 3 states: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Minas Gerais. The head office is in the municipality of Duque de Caxias and through the partnerships with Arca do Crescer Association in the city of São Paulo and with Association of Residents and City Hall in the city of Extrema.

IDEBRA’s headquarter structured and fully dedicated to meet the needs of young people of Duque de Caxias and region for their personal, professional, creative and citizen development. The space has a course room, a multifunctional room, and a space for youth support, besides the administration and production office.

Project of professional qualification on the logistics segment focusing on the youth. The objective is professionalization and referral to the first job experience in the job market.

Certificated technical capacitation is made giving the students opportunities of practicing what was taught. By the end of the course, opportunities are offered to participate in selection processes at companies in the region.

The CCDU – Urban Dance Training Course – prepares the student for challenges in Brazil’s professional dancing scene. Through theoretical and practical classes the student is prepared to embark on the dance market, by the end of the course the student can participate in the professional exam offered by the union of the category that gives him the right to exercise a professional activity in the segment with proof through the DRT (Professional Registration).

From 2020 the courses expanded to the online format increasing the scope of assisted students.

Activities related to the creative development and formation of the performing arts segment, as well as, cultural events and festival participation. They are open courses and workshops divided by modules and based on the tripé form – formation (skills development), production (realization of artistic products), and diffusion (presentation and circulation of products in the community), intending to offer the student the opportunity to develop creativity and learn the technics for their artistic expression.
