RIO DE JANEIRO: TOGETHER FOR TRANSFORMATION: SOLIDARY CAMPAIGN “ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE”

In its ongoing mission to transform lives and strengthen communities, IDEBRA is committed to carrying out actions that promote solidarity and care for others.

On this Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8th, students of the Rhythm Workshop launched the “International Women’s Day Solidarity Campaign”, concentrating efforts on collecting hygiene materials such as diapers, wet wipes, and adhesive plasters for a bedridden elderly woman who lives in the region. This action highlights class commitment, made up of the mothers of students assisted at the Institute, to promoting empathy and improving the quality of life of those who need it most in their community.

This initiative was born from a chat led by Malena Santos, IDEBRA headquarters coordinator, located in Duque de Caxias/RJ. During the meeting, Malena shared stories of women who faced challenges and inspired everyone with a message about empathy and solidarity. From that moment surged the idea of carrying out a solidarity campaign on behalf of International Women’s Day.

The action started on March 8th, with April 27th as the deadline for delivering the products, during the quarterly celebration of the class’s birthday.

This campaign reminds us that through artistic expression, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need, creating a lasting impact and inspiring others to get involved in meaningful action. To transcend barriers and become a vehicle for social transformation, Rhythm Workshop allows each step taken to represent a gesture of compassion and hope, uniting people from different backgrounds and abilities towards a common goal.

IDEBRA is a Civil Society Organization focused on training Brazilian youth since 2005, based in Duque de Caxias/RJ
