DANCE PRESENTATION: RIO DE JANEIRO ENDS 2022 IN GREAT STYLE

Promoting culture and encouraging youth and adults to express themselves through art is one of the pillars of The Institute of Development Hope Brazil, which ended its 2022 activities with presentations by dance groups in December.

Sunday, December 11th, was a day of celebration! IDEBRA’s headquarters was the stage for the Closing Exhibition of the Urban Dances students, taught by the CONDANÇA team. The event took place between 1 pm and 6 pm and had an audience of thirty-nine people, ranging from students, family members, and the IDEBRA team.

The ceremony held dance recitals of the classes, the certification of students, and a lecture on The Importance of Dance in Our Lives given by Ugo Alexandre, the course coordinator.

Then, with an audience of sixty-seven people, the Rhythm Workshop fraternization was held during the graduation at the headquarters, on the 12th of December (Monday), together with the end of the school year for the Urban Dance Training Workshop.

Aiming to contribute to physical health and strengthen the self-esteem of its students, the Institute encourages the development of creativity and techniques for artistic expression, based on physical activities, lectures, workshops, and gatherings.

Assisting youth and adults between eleven and sixty years of age, Duque de Caxias/RJ has the Urban Dances course, in partnership with the CONDANÇA team in a hybrid and remote modality, the Dance Workshop for children and adolescents and Rhythms Workshop, composed by mothers of students.

IDEBRA is a Civil Society Organization focused on training Brazilian youth since 2005, based in Duque de Caxias/RJ.
