2021 was a year of challenges and big accomplishments for IDEBRA

The Covid-19 pandemic flagged a scenario that could compromise the growth and development of IDEBRA, but the team’s expertise transformed this challenge into an achievement. It was a year in which the world was impacted, and expectations were no different for the Institute. But the reality was much different than the previsions and the statistics showed how the institute grew and strengthened that year.

The units of Duque de Caxias/RJ and Extrema/MG registered growth in participants. The news was the partnership with the Association Arca do Crescer, located in Vila Prudente, São Paulo, where it was possible to start training in logistics. The logistics course capacitated 141 young people in eight classes, of which four were in Rio de Janeiro, two in Minas Gerais, and two in São Paulo.

Another important highlight was the rate of hiring graduates. Overall there were thirty-six young people hired, which corresponds to 26% of IDEBRA’s graduates. The efficiency index of graduates was also quite high, 84% of the enrolled students concluded the course. These data show that IDEBRA is on the right track and that 2022 will be very promising, both for the institute and for our young people.

IDEBRA is a Civil Society Organization focused on training the Brazilian youth since 2005, based in Duque de Caxias/RJ.
